Lego Update

Hi guys,

Lego here! I’ve been SO BUSY lately going on so many adventures I just haven’t had time to stop and blog. I’m really starting to figure out how to get around on 3 legs so my mom finally let me come on her woods run with my sisters! For whatever reason my mom feels like she needs to run up mountains in the woods. Not walk, run; crazy, I know but she says it’s good exercise so I guess I’ll listen. Anyways, I had so much fun! I fell a few times because my sister runs so fast it’s hard to keep up sometimes.

Not only have I been hiking in the woods but I’ve been doing a lot of FitPAWS workouts at home. My muscles have grown so much I basically have a 6 pack.

Halloween was pretty cool too… except the part where my mom dressed me up as a rainbow.

It’s been getting pretty cold out there so my Mom started to look for clothes to keep me warm when we go hiking! I really hate the cold so man am I happy that she figured that out before it snowed. I’ve never seen snow before so I’m really looking forward to that!

I know I look pretty stylish guys! Both of the items are linked on the picture so that you can check them out on Etsy if you would like! You just have to email the shop owner to request an item for a tripawd!

New Toys

We’ve had quite a busy few weeks at my house! It has been adventure after adventure and I am LOVING it! My Mom got us this super cool dinosaur that shoots water out of its nose. I wasn’t too sure about this giant thing in my yard when we first got it but I guess he’s not that bad. AND it actually is kind of fun. My sister loves the water and that has helped me to try new things.

The water is apparently super great for me but let me tell you, I hate it. My mom wants to take me to swim class but she understands that we have to start small. I’ve been sniffing around my sister’s pool in the yard and finally worked up the courage to jump in! And guess what? It was not as bad as I thought it would be ( I kinda like it).

I’ll be ready for swim class in no time!

This Week’s Workout

I was having a really hard time with these FitPAWS workouts when my Mom first started working on them with me. Now that I’ve been doing this stuff for a few weeks, I have kinda gotten the hang of this stuff. I still get tired pretty quickly because this stuff is tough but it really is a lot of fun. It also has really helped me to strengthen my other three legs. If you can’ tell, I basically have an 8 pack already!

When we first started to do this stuff, I had a really hard time with my Down to Stand. I can now do 3 of theses in a row without taking a break! I feel stronger and stronger each day. Who needs 4 legs anyways!?

Adventure Time!

This was a huge week for me! My mom took me swimming for the first time. My sisters love to swim so I figured it was time for me to give it a go. They ran right in the water, so of course I followed. I was a little nervous at first but I went nice and slow and quickly realized that I really LOVE the water.

I had some trouble staying afloat so I didn’t go as far in as my sisters did but Mom told me that she ordered me a ruffwear life jacket as soon as we got home. Once that comes I’m sure I’ll be able to keep up with my sisters! I can’t wait!

Swimming sure was a great workout 🙂

Paw Protection

Maneuvering around my house on the wood floors has been tough. My mom has been putting lots of different stuff on my paws to help me get around the house without slipping and sliding.

WELL, I think it’s time for me to share some of my favorite products with you.

Ruff Wear Summit Trex Boots – Everyday Paw Protection

I did not love these when my mom first put them on me but we spent lots of time getting used to them one foot at a time with yummy cookies! Once I realized that they made going on walks so much easier they really grew on me. Not only do they prevent me from slipping and sliding, but they also protect my feet from the hot pavement. I hope they work just the same once it starts to snow!

I tried to wear my booties around the house but I just did not love it so my mom started to bring home lots of different stuff for me to try. She started with this HORRIBLE sock that felt like a balloon on my foot. They stopped me from sliding but I could not stand them so we quickly moved on. So many different smelly, oily and sticky paw balms later she finally brought home the Espree Paw Balm. This stuff ROCKS. It doesn’t smell which means it doesn’t bother anyone I live with. It also stops me from sliding into the kitchen island when I chase my sister around. It is a little oily when you first put it on but if I sit in Mom’s lap for a few minutes after she puts it on I am good to go!

If anyone has some other stuff they love for their three little feet please share with my Mama so she can get it for me!

Happy Wednesday!

Love,
